Born on 24th of August 1978 at Samrala (Punjab) to the family of S.Ajit Singh and Smt. Harnake Kaur having 2 elder daughters Paramjeet Kaur and Parminder Kaur. My father was doing job at PSEB patiala so we shifted to patiala
when I was just 2 years old.
Here I joined
my first school Shri Guru Harkarishan Public School, where I studied till 5th standard. After that I moved to Sun Flower Model School where I spent next 5 very important years. There I competed in Painting (see designer in me was at that age) and Quiz contests
in addition to being captain of my house group. From here I completed my matriculation in 1994 with 78% marks.
Now was the time to get in real competitive world of study and I selected engineering field, in 1994 JET (Junior Entrance Test)
I was ranked 34 in all punjab level. I took admission in Thapar Polytechinc Patiala in Electrical Engg. Completed the course in 1997 with 65% marks.
During
next 4 years I did numerious jobs as Trainee in PSEB, as Trainee
Supervisor in Nikita Transformers and Gagan Transmission. In addition to that I was also doing AMIE. Clearing A section in and Project Period. I joined MES (Military Engg. Service) as Supervisor of 66KV Grid Substation. Here I also cleared first round of AMIE B-Section Exams, but till now times were changing with PSEB going Private and stopping all new recuiretments the Govt sector jobs were disappearing and private sector jobs were not having big money and future scope.
At this time I was developing interest in Computers thanks to my friend Ajaypal Singh ( A computer freak at that time and working as SDO in PSEB now). So I bought my first PC (Celeron-433,32MB RAM - One of the fastest machines of that time)
and stated learning things myself but ended up playing games at most of times. So In addition to my MES job I joined morning classes and leared FoxPro and Visual Basic but somehow I feel I was not made up for Programming as my intersets were towards designing.
So it was time to make a big and carrer orinted decision and I left MES job ( as wll as AMIE study which was 60% completed at that time) and joined a year long course of E-Commerce
course at Webcom Technologies, Patiala in 2001. Here I learned HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and basic of JAVA, ASP and SQL
as well. After the course was over in March 2002, Webcom hired me as Web Faculty for their students, At same time I got another oppruniuity at Pentasoft Technologies and in next coming 3 months I was teaching classes at both places.
After this I moved on to Chandigarh and there I worked in Webinfo Sercives, A1 Technology, Coventine Corporation and Narman Data Systems. During this period I completed B.Sc in Comp & Sci from PTU. Right now I am working as a Web Designer with 5.5 years of experince.
On 7th Nov 2004 I got married to Manpreet Kaur and
was blessed with loving daughter Khushi on 27th Oct 2005.
